Sonar Duel
Privacy policy
Effective 24 October 2026.
You can play all of Sonar Duel without an account, and your game data stays on your device. If you choose to race a friend online, you sign in with Apple and we store only what that feature needs.
Who we are
Sonar Duel (“the app”) is published by Coralia Digital, an independent app studio. “We” refers to the developer who publishes the app on the Apple App Store. Questions? Email coraliadigital@icloud.com.
What data we handle and why
On-device data
Your daily and practice results, streaks, settings and progress are stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard storage. This data is not sent to us.
Online races (optional)
If you sign in to race a friend, we store:
- An account identifier created by Sign in with Apple. The app does not ask for or store your email address.
- A display name: the first name Apple shares when you first sign in, or “Captain” if none is shared. Your opponent can see it.
- Match data: the match code, the board size and seed, and the result of each race you finish (number of actions and time taken).
This data is used only to run races between you and the friend you invite. Your opponent can see your display name and your result for that match, and nobody else can. It is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, on servers in the EU.
Purchases
If you buy Sonar Duel Pro, Apple and RevenueCat process the transaction and tell the app whether your purchase is active. We never receive your card details.
What we do not collect
- Location data
- Contacts
- Microphone audio
- Browsing history
- Health or fitness data
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- Any data used for advertising or cross-app tracking
We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking. We do not use analytics in the app.

Children
Sonar Duel is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Signing in is optional and only needed for online races.
Your choices
- Delete your online data: in the app, open Settings and tap Delete my online data. This permanently removes your display name, races and results from our server and signs you out.
- Sign out: Settings → Sign out, at any time.
- Stop using Sign in with Apple for Sonar Duel: iPhone Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple.
- Local data: Settings → Reset local data, or delete the app.
You can also email coraliadigital@icloud.com and we will delete your online data for you.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and post the new version on this page.
