Pythonaut
Learn Python by actually writing it
Learn Python by actually writing it. Pythonaut runs real Python on your iPhone and iPad, with nothing to install and no internet needed once you are in.
There are 62 bite-sized lessons, taking you from your very first print() to classes, testing and async. Each one has a live example, a checked coding challenge and a short quiz, so you are writing code from the first minute rather than reading about it.
For practice there are over 70 arcade challenges (games, decoders, bug hunts and unscramble puzzles), a new daily challenge with a streak, and an open playground to try anything you like.
Students can prepare for GCSE Computer Science, Cambridge IGCSE, Edexcel International GCSE, AP Computer Science Principles and IB, with timed mock papers, trace tables and exam pseudocode shown beside the Python.
Pythonaut is also a full website at pythonaut.net. One account works in both places: sign in with Apple or email and your progress follows you between the app and the browser.
